Queen’s Wharf Brisbane’s subtropical haven to begin construction in September
The Riverline area, comprising eight hectares of public space will begin construction in September as part of the Queen’s Wharf redevelopment project. This next stage of the project will upgrade 500 meters of the bicentennial bikeway, improvements to Queen’s Wharf Road, revitalisation of the heritage-listed Miller Park, Finger Wharves, along with new playgrounds and public amenities. More than 300 trees and close to 20,000 plants will be planted to give the Riverline area a distinctly subtropical South East Queensland character.
