National

Executive Director
Craig Williams

With industry experience spanning four decades and multiple countries, Craig Williams knowhow and experience covers many aspects of property development and operations.

Craig has been at the forefront of FEC Australia since its inception in 1994. During that time he has overseen the delivery of many integrated residential, commercial and retail developments.

Craig held roles as director of all development companies for the Lend Lease Group.

Craig holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) (Melbourne University).

Chief Financial Officer
Craig O’Hare

Craig O’Hare has 25 years’ experience in financial management, particularly in the project, property development and construction sectors.

As a highly motivated and details-focused finance professional, Craig is perpetually driven by a need to improve the process. His meticulous nature ensures all aspects of FEC’s finances and financial reporting are in expert hands.

Craig’s responsibilities range from overall compliance, statutory reporting, liquidity management, taxation, company secretarial duties and IT management. These involve liaising with the parent company in Hong Kong, supporting and managing all staff on financial and reporting matters, overseeing head office requirements, local banks, consulting firms and auditors.

Craig reports to the Hong Kong head office each month and expedites FEC’s quarterly bank reporting.

Previous experience includes roles as financial controller for the Victorian, South Australian and Tasmanian operations of Lend Lease, financial controller for the Victorian operations of Walker Corporation and overseeing the financial and commercial requirements for the construction of the Athletes Village for the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.

Craig holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology, Sydney and is a member of the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants.

Construction Director
Michael Barry

As Construction Director at Far East Consortium, Michael currently oversees the design and delivery of all FEC projects Australia wide.

With over 30 years’ experience gained in the construction industry in Australia, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia, he has expertise in both the technical and commercial aspects of construction and property development.  Michael has led in the bid development and delivery of iconic and complex commercial, residential, public use and sporting developments.

He has held leadership positions both acting for the client and as the construction delivery partner.  His construction industry expertise ranges from developing and securing business and complex design approvals, through to managing project delivery.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Applied Science – Construction Management from RMIT and a trade qualification in Carpentry & Joinery.

Director of Sales & Marketing
Lauren Sheldon

Lauren Sheldon brings over 17 years of experience in sales and marketing to her role as Director of Sales and Marketing Australia at Far East Consortium.

She has a unique ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring the success of every project she works on. Her strategic thinking and diverse skill set have driven more than $8 billion in sales, consistently delivering market-leading results across Australia.

Lauren has played a key role in some of the country’s most significant developments, including Queen’s Wharf Residences, West Side Place, The Towers at Elizabeth Quay, The Star Residences, 35 Spring Street, Upper West Side, The Hilton Melbourne, and more.

Lauren is one in a million. Proving herself as 2014 Australian Boxing Champion, she has the tenacity and commitment to see any challenge through.

Director of Human Resources
Kim Potter

Kim Potter is an experienced human resources leader with a career spanning over 16 years across diverse industries, including hospitality, retail, and property development.

Currently the Director of Human Resources for the Far East Consortium, Dorsett Hotels & Dining Concepts in Australia. Kim oversees the people strategies for the multiple companies, across a team of 250+ employees.

Kim has a demonstrated track record in workforce planning, end-to-end HR, extensive experience handling complex transitions such as organisational restructuring and department closures, implementing modern HRIS/payroll systems, managing intricate IR cases with the Fair Work Commission, and leading enterprise negotiations.

Holding a degree in Human Resources Business Management, Kim is committed to fostering high-performing teams and is a trusted leader who emphasises the core values of ethics and accountability.

Senior Design Manager
Max Manoiloff

Max Manoiloff is a seasoned construction professional with over 35 years of experience in estimating, design management, project management, and development management. He has worked on high-profile residential, commercial, hospitality, industrial, and educational projects, providing comprehensive expertise in large-scale developments.

Max’s recent role as Design, Development, and Project Manager at Destination Brisbane Consortium saw him lead major projects, including the Queen’s Wharf Residences and Commercial Tower. He oversees all stages of development, from feasibility and cost management to design approvals and stakeholder engagement, consistently ensuring high standards in cost control and project delivery.

Holding a Bachelor of Applied Science in Construction Management, Max is recognised for his strategic approach to project financials, documentation, and value engineering, driving the successful completion of complex projects across Australia.

National Partnership & Relationship Manager
Maria Shi

Maria Shi is an experienced Partnership & Relationship Manager with seven years in the property industry. With a background in relationship, property, and settlement management, she specialises in contract administration, project sales, and supporting successful sales and settlement outcomes. 

Maria brings strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented approach to her role at Far East Consortium, where she builds and maintains stakeholder relationships and oversees project settlements in Perth and Melbourne. 

She holds a Bachelor of Environment with a major in Property from The University of Melbourne, and her achievements include successful sales for West Side Place, Perth Hub, and The Towers at Elizabeth Quay.

Retail & Leasing Manager
Gino Giacobbe

Gino Giacobbe brings a strong knowledge of retail property, sales and leasing to his responsibilities with FEC.

Gino’s capacity in retail property leasing is well demonstrated by his role in leasing 45 existing retail shops at Upper West Side and West Side Place – Stage 1, both in the Melbourne CBD. Despite constraints from the pandemic, he has still assisted retailers to maximise sales through innovation and fostering community.

As well as preleasing future FEC Melbourne developments including West Side Place – Stage 2 and Monument, Gino maintains full oversight over the Victorian Retail Portfolio, such as development planning, lease administration, finance, fit-outs, and retail management.

Before joining FEC, he as worked across a wide variety of retail assets in Melbourne, in roles covering retail management, facilities management, leasing, and development.

He has a Bachelor of Property and Real Estate (with a major in sustainability) from Deakin University and a Certificate IV in Property from RMIT. Gino holds a full Victorian Estate Agents Licence.

QS Manager
Shannon Coone

As QS Manager at Far East Consortium, Shannon oversees cost management, risk assessment, and project financials from initial conception through to completion. With 25 years of experience in quantity surveying and estimating, he brings a wealth of industry knowledge to his role. Shannon spent eight years as a Quantity Surveyor with Padghams (now Currie & Brown) and 13 years as an Estimator at Contexx/Probuild before joining FEC four years ago as QS Manager.

Shannon’s expertise spans all facets of quantity surveying, including BOQ measurement, cost planning, and cost control across design, procurement, and construction phases. In estimating, he has extensive experience preparing tender packages, managing subcontractor quotations, and overseeing logistics and project preliminaries. Shannon also specialises in feasibility studies and development cost management, making him a versatile asset in every stage of project delivery.

Shannon holds a Bachelor of Construction Management from Deakin University. Among his key achievements at FEC are West Side Place Stages 1 & 2 and the upcoming 640 Bourke Street project. His project portfolio includes major residential developments such as Uno Melbourne, Caulfield Village, and Sky Gardens, alongside large retail and commercial ventures like Chadstone Shopping Centre and South Wharf DFO.

Commercial Manager
Cameron Beck

As Commercial Manager of FEC Constructions Queensland and Victoria, Cameron oversees the commercial, financial and contractual elements of our construction projects.

With over 15 years of experience in the Australian construction and development industry he has expertise in both the technical and commercial aspects of large scale construction projects.

His career has included stints with several major public and private construction companies prior to joining Far East Consortium.

He led the delivery of FEC’s West Side Place development as Project Manager in a previous role within the business.

Cameron holds a Bachelor of Construction Manager (Honours) from Deakin University.

Project Manager
Matt Weatheritt

Matt Weatheritt is a seasoned Project Manager with over 15 years in the construction industry, supported by a degree in Engineering that provides a strong technical foundation.

His expertise spans client-side project management, where he has consistently led large-scale developments to completion, balancing timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Known for his collaborative leadership style, Matt excels at uniting diverse teams to achieve project milestones. His proactive approach and problem-solving skills make him a valuable asset in realising Far East Consortium’s commitment to quality and innovation.

Sales & Marketing Development Manager
Maddy Sharp-Doepel

With 10 years of real estate and development experience, Maddy Sharp-Doepel plays a pivotal role at Far East Consortium as Sales & Marketing Development Manager. Her background includes seven years in development management, during which she has led major projects such as the $2 billion redevelopment of The Star Gold Coast, overseeing the sales launch of two towers with over 800 apartments and the opening of Australia’s first Dorsett Hotel. Maddy has also contributed extensively to Brisbane’s iconic Queen’s Wharf precinct, including Towers 4, 5, and 6.

Holding a Bachelor of Business with a major in Real Estate & Development, Maddy specialises in mixed-use developments, where her expertise in delivering high-quality finishes, amenities, and customer experiences has elevated standards across hotel and residential projects.

Project Marketing Manager
Rebecca Dickie

Rebecca brings over six years of expertise in property marketing to Far East Consortium. Previously, she served as Media Director at Tomorrow’s Agency, Australia’s largest property-focused marketing agency, where she led a team managing a diverse portfolio of over 70 clients.  

At Far East Consortium, Rebecca works closely with her talented team on national project marketing, with her current focus on launching 640 Bourke in Melbourne. Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys running, playing the piano and discovering Melbourne’s dynamic restaurant scene.

Content & Communications Manager
Justin Felix

Justin Felix is an experienced Content and Communications Manager with expertise in digital media, specialising in project marketing, social media, and copywriting. 

With a background spanning various industries, he brings a wealth of knowledge in content strategy, audience engagement, and digital marketing. 

At Far East Consortium Australia, Justin leads content marketing across B2C and B2B channels. With over a decade of agency and in-house experience, he combines creativity with a dynamic skill set, excelling at connecting with audiences across diverse digital platforms.

Western Australia

Director - FEC Constructions Australia
Dan Miller

With 23 years of Australian and international experience in the construction and engineering field, Dan Miller brings a wealth of design and construction knowledge to FEC.

As a highly motivated, hands-on Construction Manager (Change to director) for Western Australia & QLD Dan oversees the project delivery teams In Perth Hub & Brisbane.

He is responsible for all aspects of project delivery & corporate oversight in the including operations, design, construction, commercial and contract management disciplines from concept to completion, as well as supporting new business.

Dan has extensive experience in major projects including high rise residential, hotels, mixed use commercial, retail and major civil infrastructure schemes.

He has held senior positions for tier 1 contractors in the field of Construction Management nationally and internationally and directly lead teams in the delivery of over $3bn

Dan holds a Bachelor of Science & Engineering in Construction Management & Engineering from Leeds Universities in the UK and an Advanced Diploma of Construction and Economics. He is also a Member of the Chartered institute of Building (MCIOB) (UK) and the Australian Institute of Building (AIB), as well as a Registered builder in Western Australia, Queensland & Victoria.

Senior Development Manager
Laura Ainsworth

Laura Ainsworth has enjoyed a 12-year career spanning major development, project management, urban renewal and infrastructure projects.

As Hotel Project Manager for FEC, Laura recently delivered The Ritz-Carlton, Perth, a 5-star 205 room luxurious hotel and retail experience. She is currently overseeing the delivery of Perth Hub and Dorsett Hotel, adding value through authority approvals, design development, feasibility and procurement.

Laura boasts extensive experience in the Government sector, including Director of Project Delivery at the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority. Here, she provided leadership and strategic direction of a redevelopment program consisting of 19 major urban renewal projects, including the Perth City Link Project representing $1.3 billion Government investment. She led teams on feasibility, compliance, policies, practices to optimise delivery, critical analysis, reporting, strategy and risk mitigation.

In a previous role as Project Manager for Tourism Western Australia, Laura was responsible for providing oversight and management of tourism infrastructure projects, and developing feasibilities for tourism development opportunities including hotels, eco-tourism and mixed use. She has also been a Senior Hospitality Consultant, specialising in Western Australian Liquor Licensing applications and approvals, along with developing hospitality and tourism focused feasibility studies and assessments.

Laura holds a Bachelor of Tourism Management from Edith Cowan University in Perth.

Regional Design & Pre-Construction Manager
Ian Kendrick

Ian Kendrick is a respected Regional Design and Pre-Construction Manager with a long-standing career at leading Tier 1 construction firms worldwide.

Since joining Far East Consortium in 2021, he has brought extensive expertise in managing complex construction processes, from design and procurement to integration and project coordination.

Ian currently leads the pre-construction team for the Perth Hub and Dorsett Hotel projects, applying his in-depth understanding of construction methodologies to oversee every stage of development. Ian holds numerous industry qualifications and has contributed to significant projects, including The Ritz Carlton at Elizabeth Quay.

Senior Project Manager
Troy Versteeg

Troy is a dedicated Project Manager with extensive experience in the Engineering and Construction industry.

His work on major projects in Perth has developed his strong leadership, planning, and organisational skills, making him a well-rounded and quality-focussed professional.

Currently, Troy leads the project team for Perth Hub, overseeing the engineering, planning, and subcontractor coordination for this high-profile development, set to complete in 2024. His commitment to excellence is evident in the successful outcomes of his past projects.
