West Side Place embodies a new height of luxury inner city living. Set to transform the former Age newspaper site at 250 Spencer Street, West Side Place will become Melbourne’s largest CBD residential development with over 2,600 apartments, and the tallest hotel in the southern hemisphere thanks to what will be Melbourne’s first Ritz-Carlton hotel.
Recognised as the most prestigious luxury hotel brand in the world, the 250 room Ritz-Carlton hotel will be located on tower one of the four tower development which will each span between 62 to 81 levels.
With a range of one, two and three bedroom apartments, West Side Place will feature carefully designed amenities totalling over 4,500m2 including pools, a gym, cinema, karaoke rooms, catering kitchen, boardroom, business centre, study pods, library, wine bar, sauna, steam room and more.
The projects will also include an additional hotel in tower three and an extension of Melbourne’s café and laneway culture with plans for the 12,000m2 site to also include the delivery of a new laneway connecting Lonsdale St and Little Lonsdale St, providing an array of restaurants and an extensive number of retail sites surrounding expansive central landscaped public areas.
