BC Securities is a Melbourne-based private lender with a dedicated residential real estate finance team that specialises in lending to non-residents in Australia.
With FEC’s support, last year BC Securities launched one of Australia’s first lending products for borrowers earning foreign income and is now ranked as the number one lender in the non-resident market. When Australian banks stopped offering this service earlier in the year, BC Securities saw an opportunity to design an NCCP regulated loan targeted to non-resident borrowers.
BC Securities’ Director of Distribution, Katherine Persoglia, has over 16 years experience in non-resident lending and leads the sales teams in Australia and Asia. “We have just had our biggest month of lodgements and settlements in April and look forward to releasing more exciting products and services later in the year,” she says.
With a 25-year loan term, 70 per cent LVR, SRV of 6.95 per cent and quick turnaround times, BC Securities’ current ‘Year of the Dog’ product is a clear market leader. The Melbourne based assessment and credit team are multi-lingual, and speak/translate Mandarin, Indonesian and Malay. BC Securities accepts both properties purchased off the plan and established dwellings throughout Australia.
With over 228 loan documents issued (settlement pipeline approx value of $85m), 534 Active files (approx value of $200m) and 467 loans settled (approx value of $171m), BC Securities has now opened offices in Beijing, Singapore & Hong Kong with more to follow.
